Creative Boss Interview No. 3: Larissa Reuter - Designer & Owner of cushion company HETTI.

Today's Creative Boss Interview features Larissa, the owner of Berlin based cushion company HETTI. Larissa designs and sews the most beautiful cushions out of natural fabrics and just moved into her new studio / shop space in Neukölln.

I'm also trying a slightly different format for this interview! I recorded it and would love for you to listen to the audio version - it just shows what an awesome person Larissa is and how much passion she has for her business. You can also download it (like a podcast).

In the interview, we talk about how Larissa started HETTI. after studying art history (and why it was good that she never did an internship in a museum before she started her studies), what inspires her and which principles she bases her cushion designs on.

She also shares her experience with selling through multiple different channels: her own online shop, Etsy, Dawanda, Monoqi (a design flash sale site) and physical stores.

We talk about when to hire someone and how to find the right fit - and I loved getting to know Larissa's perspective on hiring in off-season vs. high season!
